Architect Bruce Stephens, Bell Ingram’s Director of Design approached Alltec Construction to construct his new four-bedroom, three-bathroom family home near Coupar Angus in Perthshire. The contemporary home had many impressive and bold features such as a top floor balcony which incorporated a glazed balustrading, hot tub, sauna and views across the Perthshire countryside, neochrome cantilever cladded bedroom which protruded from the front façade, full height steel and timber cladded staircase with glazed balustrading and full height curtain walling, and open plan ground floor living space with kitchen, pantry, dining and living room. Eden View was constructed on behalf of Kingston Developments Scotland, following the success of previous projects with this private developer.The project included the site clearance of existing farm buildings/workshops, all associated ground works and the construction of a 5 Bedroom Home.  The traditional construction and internal fit out works were undertaken in house with our own professional and dedicated staff allowing us to deliver a bespoke home of the highest quality on budget and to programme.

The Byre was one of the first full residential refurbishments undertaken by Alltec Construction in 2005. The old disused barn was hidden away in the side streets of the beautiful East Fife village of Crail.  The aim of the project was to retain as much original character as possible whilst benefiting from modern build standards. The barn was converted into 2 stories, a new roof was installed, and the original stone work was retained & re-pointed. Once fully fitted out internally, The Byre became a quaint little home.
