Project Description
Alltec Construction were appointed by The Royal Highland & Agricultural Society of Scotland as design and build contractors to refurbish the Strathmore Bar, Restaurant & Kitchen within the Lowland Hall. The refurbishment had the aim of improving the functionality, saleability and the overall look of the facility.
The works comprised the complete strip out of the existing fit-out which was dated and tired, leaving only the remaining core and shell of the building fabric, a blank canvas to re-invent the space.
Following the completion of down takings and the preliminary design stages we then proceeded to fit-out the Strathmore Bar & Kitchen, the works comprised; Double glazed windows, decorative wall panelling to internal walls, new anti-slip vinyl and parquet flooring, plasterboard ceilings with detailed bulkheads, high end bar and servery with marble frontages, bespoke brushed stainless steel hanging bar rack with mirror backing, full height mirrors with RHASS manifestation, fire roller shutter to kitchen servery with all associated M&E fit-out packages.
The project was handed over on time and on budget with the grand opening presented to all RHASS directors at their quarterly lunch event, it was well received and given the approval of all board members.
